Smart TV setup without buying anything new
The majority of televisions purchased recently support IPTV applications. Here's how to check if yours does, and your options if it doesn't.

The first question we are asked is almost never about channels — it is "will it work on my TV?" In most cases the answer is yes, and no extra hardware is needed. Three things decide it: the operating system your television runs, its age, and whether your regional app store still carries an IPTV player.
Find out what your television runs
Samsung sets use Tizen, LG sets use webOS, and Sony, Philips, TCL and Hisense usually run Android TV or Google TV. Android TV is the easiest of the three: the Play Store carries several IPTV players and installation is identical to a phone. Tizen and webOS are more restricted — they carry a smaller catalogue, and older models sometimes cannot install anything new at all.
Simple check: launch your app marketplace and search by player name. If you find it, you're set. If not, browse "all apps" or the updates area before deciding it's missing — TV app store searches are notoriously exact-match only.
The setup itself takes four steps

Set up an application — IPTV Smarters Pro for Android TV, or IBO Player for Samsung and LG sets.

Input your username, password and portal URL precisely as provided. Paste instead of typing — TV remote keyboards account for most authentication errors.

Allow the initial synchronization to complete. Ten seconds is typical; a couple of minutes is expected for extensive catalogues.

When the app simply is not there
On a television older than roughly 2018, the store may no longer offer new applications. This is a limitation of the set, not of the subscription. The fix is an inexpensive external player: a Fire TV Stick or a small Android box turns any HDMI television into a modern streaming device, and the same subscription runs on it unchanged.

Three habits worth adopting
Connect via ethernet wherever the cable extends. Reboot the player instead of the entire television if a channel freezes. Also, save your login credentials in a note on your mobile — you'll require them again when switching devices.
